Notification categories
TumelLife groups its notifications by category, so you can choose which kinds you want to see in each shared workspace.
Why categories exist
Different people care about different updates. Categories let you keep the notifications that are useful to you and quieten the ones that are not, without turning everything off.
The main categories
Notifications cover the main areas of a shared workspace, such as tasks, expenses, groceries, reminders and other items members add or change. When something happens in a category you have switched on, it appears in your notifications.
Choosing what you see
In a shared workspace's notification settings, you can turn individual categories on or off. This is per workspace, so you might keep everything on for a busy family workspace and only some categories on for another. See Notification settings.
In-app for now
These notifications appear inside the app. Alerts that reach you while the app is completely closed are not part of TumelLife yet, so it helps to open the app regularly to stay up to date.
Common questions
Do categories apply to My Life? Notifications are about shared activity, so categories matter most in shared workspaces.
Can each person choose their own categories? Yes. Your settings are your own and do not change what others see.
