Join a workspace
When someone invites you to a shared workspace, you join by opening their invitation link and confirming.
Step by step
- Open the invitation link the person sent you.
- If you are not signed in, sign in or create an account using the same email address the invitation was sent to.
- A message appears showing who invited you and the name of the workspace.
- Choose Join workspace.
What to expect
After you join, TumelLife takes you straight into the shared workspace and shows a short welcome. You can now see and add to everything shared there.
If you see a different message
- You are already a member. You already joined this workspace. Choose Open to go to it.
- Different email address. You are signed in with an email that does not match the invitation. Sign in with the invited email to join.
- Invitation not valid or already used. Ask the person to send you a new invitation.
Helpful tips
Tip. Use the same email address the invitation was sent to. This is the most common reason a join does not work.
Common mistakes
- Signing in with the wrong account, then wondering why the workspace is missing.
- Opening an old invitation link that has already been used.
