Switching workspaces

Switching workspaces changes which set of things you are looking at, and where anything new will be saved. It only takes a tap.

Using the switcher

At the top of the screen there is a workspace switcher showing the name of the workspace you are currently in. Tap it to see your other workspaces, then choose the one you want. The screen updates to show that workspace's content.

Why the current workspace matters

The workspace you are in decides two things: what you can see, and where new items are saved. If a shared workspace is open, what you add is shared with its members. If My Life is open, what you add stays private. So before adding something, glance at the name in the switcher.

Common questions

I added something to the wrong workspace. What now? Items stay in the workspace they were created in, so the simplest fix is to add it again in the right workspace and remove the copy in the wrong one.

Why can I only see some of my things? You are probably viewing one workspace. Switch to another to see what is kept there.
