A shared workspace keeps a simple activity history, so everyone can see what has been happening without having to ask.

What activity history is

The activity history is a running record of what happens in a shared workspace, such as items being added or changes being made. It helps everyone stay in the loop, especially when several people are using the same workspace.

Where to find it

Open the shared workspace and go to its activity view. You will see recent events listed, most recent first.

Why it is useful

Activity history answers the everyday questions that come up when you share a space: what was added, and roughly when. It saves a lot of who did this messages, and keeps everyone on the same page.

Personal workspaces

Activity history is about shared activity, so it applies to shared workspaces. Your personal My Life workspace is just yours, so there is no shared history to keep there.

Common questions

Can activity be edited or removed? The history is a record of what happened, so it is kept as it is rather than edited.

Does everyone see the same history? Yes. All members of the shared workspace see the same activity.
