What syncs automatically

TumelLife keeps your information in sync for you, so what you see on one device matches another, and shared workspaces stay current for everyone.

Your data follows you

When you sign in on another device, your workspaces and their contents are there. You do not need to export or import anything. Add a task on your phone and it will be waiting when you open the app on another device.

Shared workspaces update for everyone

In a shared workspace, changes made by one person appear for the others. When someone adds a grocery item or logs a shared expense, the rest of the members see it. This happens on its own, in the background.

What syncs

Your tasks, expenses, groceries, reminders, notes, meals and cleaning items all sync, along with your profile details. Your private My Life content syncs to your own devices, while shared workspace content syncs to all its members.

When you are offline

If you lose connection, you can keep using the app, and your changes sync once you are back online. See How offline mode works.

Common questions

Do I need to press a sync button? No. Syncing happens automatically whenever you are connected.

Why has a change not appeared yet? It may be a brief delay or a connection issue. See Troubleshooting sync.
