Edit your profile

Your profile holds a few simple details: your name, what you like to be called, your default currency and your photo. You can update them any time.

Opening your profile

Open your profile from the top of the screen, where your photo or initial is shown. This is where your personal details live.

What you can change

• First and last name. Your full name.
• Preferred name. What TumelLife calls you around the app, such as in your greeting. See Change your preferred name.
• Default currency. The currency new expenses start with. See Currencies.
• Photo. An optional profile picture. See Profile photo.

Saving your changes

After editing, save your profile. Your changes take effect straight away, and your name updates in the places it appears, including any shared workspaces you belong to.

Common questions

Will my new name show to people I share with? Yes. Your display name updates in your shared workspaces so members see the current one.

Do I have to fill in everything? A preferred name and currency are handy, but you can keep your profile as simple as you like.
