How offline mode works
TumelLife keeps working when you are offline. You can still see your things and make changes, and everything catches up once you are back online.
Working without a connection
If you go offline, whether on a plane, in a tunnel, or with patchy signal, TumelLife still opens and shows the information it already has. You can keep viewing and adding as normal.
Your changes are safe
Anything you add or change while offline is held safely on your device. When your connection comes back, those changes sync automatically, so nothing is lost. In a shared workspace, the other members see your changes once you are back online.
The offline indicator
When you are offline, TumelLife shows a small strip letting you know, along with a reassurance that your changes are safe. When you reconnect, it goes away and syncing catches up.
Good to know
Because offline changes sync when you reconnect, it is worth opening the app while you have a connection now and then, so everything stays current across your devices and with the people you share with.
Common questions
Will I lose anything if I close the app while offline? No. Your changes are stored on the device and sync when you are back online.
Can two people edit while offline? Yes. Each person's changes sync when they reconnect.
