Priorities

Priorities let you mark how important something is, so the things that matter most are easy to spot. You can set a priority on tasks and many other items.

The priority levels

When you add or edit an item, you can set its priority to low, medium or high. It is an optional marker, there to help you and, in a shared workspace, everyone else see at a glance what is most pressing.

Where you can set a priority

Priorities appear on the forms for tasks, expenses, groceries, reminders and cleaning tasks. Use them wherever it helps to separate the urgent from the everyday.

Setting a priority

  1. Add a new item, or open an existing one to edit it.
  2. Choose the priority: low, medium or high.
  3. Save. The priority is shown with the item.

Using priorities well

Priorities are most useful when you keep them meaningful. If everything is high, nothing stands out. Many people reserve high for the few things that truly matter that day, and leave the rest at low or medium.

Common questions

Do I have to set a priority? No, it is optional. Leave it as it is if you do not need it.

Can everyone in a shared workspace see the priority? Yes. Like the rest of a shared item, its priority is visible to the members.
