Delete a workspace

If a shared workspace is no longer needed, the owner can remove it. This is permanent, so it is worth being sure first.

Before you delete

Deleting a shared workspace removes it and everything in it for everyone who was a member. This cannot be undone, so if there is anything worth keeping, make a note of it first.

Who can delete a workspace

Only the owner of a shared workspace can delete it. If you are a member rather than the owner, you can step away instead by leaving it. See Leave a workspace.

My Life cannot be deleted on its own

Your personal My Life workspace is part of your account and cannot be deleted separately. It is only removed if you delete your whole account. See Delete your account.

Common questions

What happens to the other members? They lose access to the workspace and its contents once it is deleted.

Is there a way to keep the data? No, deletion is permanent. Note down anything important beforehand.
