Notifications not showing

If you are not seeing the notifications you expect, here are the things to check.

Notifications are in the app for now

TumelLife shows notifications inside the app. Alerts that reach you while the app is fully closed are not part of TumelLife yet, so it is worth opening the app to see what is new. Keeping it installed on your home screen makes that quick. See Install TumelLife.

Check your notification settings

You can choose which categories you are notified about in each shared workspace. If a category is switched off, you will not see those updates. See Notification settings and Notification categories.

Check the right workspace

Notifications relate to shared workspace activity. Make sure you are looking at the shared workspace where the activity is happening.

Check your connection

Updates from other people arrive once you are online. If you are offline, they will come through when you reconnect.

Common questions

Why did my phone not alert me? App-closed phone alerts are not available yet. Notifications appear when you open the app.

I see some notifications but not others. Check which categories are switched on in that workspace's settings.
