Refreshing cached data

TumelLife keeps a copy of your data on your device so it opens quickly and works offline. Now and then that copy can look out of date, and refreshing it helps.

Why refreshing helps

To be fast and to work offline, TumelLife stores a local copy of the app and your data. Occasionally that copy can lag behind, for example after an update or a spell offline. Refreshing it lets the app fetch the latest.

The simplest refresh

Fully close TumelLife and open it again while you have a good connection. This is enough in most cases and lets it pull the latest data.

If you installed the app

If you are using the installed home screen app and it still looks stale, closing it completely and reopening, or removing and reinstalling it, gives you a clean, up to date copy. See Install TumelLife.

In a browser

If you use TumelLife in a browser, reloading the page while online refreshes it. A full reload fetches the newest version.

Common questions

Will I lose anything by refreshing? No. Your data is stored in your account and synced, so refreshing only updates the local copy.

How often should I do this? Rarely. Only if a device seems stuck or out of date.
